Reports to: Security Supervisor or Site Manager

Job Summary:The Security Guard is responsible for protecting property, assets, and personnel by maintaining a safe and secure environment. This includes monitoring premises, conducting patrols, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to emergencies.

• Key Responsibilities:Monitor entrances, exits, and security systems (CCTV, alarms).
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to detect and prevent suspicious behavior or unsafe conditions.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents such as fire, medical emergencies, or security breaches.
• Control access to restricted areas and check identification when necessary.
• Write detailed reports on daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors, staff, and clients.
• Conduct safety inspections and report hazards or violations.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times.
• Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven work experience as a security guard or similar role preferred.
• Valid security guard license/certification (as required by local laws).
• Knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Excellent observational and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Working Conditions:May require working nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Both indoor and outdoor assignments.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions and environments.
