Job Description
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to guide and support our agile teams in delivering high-quality products efficiently. The Scrum Master will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, help remove impediments, and ensure that teams adhere to Agile principles and practices. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: 1. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. 2. Serve as a coach and mentor for the team, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices. 3. Remove impediments and blockers that hinder the team's progress. 4. Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog effectively. 5. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and optimizing processes. 6. Track and report key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to stakeholders. 7. Foster team collaboration and self-organization, ensuring that teams are empowered and motivated. 8. Work with other Scrum Masters to coordinate cross-team dependencies. Requirements: 1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. 2. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is preferred. 3. 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role. 4. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). 5. Excellent communication and leadership skills. 6. Proficiency with Agile tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana. 7. Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle conflicts within the team. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Large Scale Scrum (LeSS). 2. Background in software development or project management.
