Job Description
SAP PLM Role 8-12 yrs experienced resources Functional Role Description: A SAP PLM Functional Consultant plays a crucial role in implementing and optimizing SAP PLM solutions for businesses. Their responsibilities include: Requirement Gathering: Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business processes and gather requirements related to product lifecycle management. Solution Design: Designing SAP PLM solutions based on gathered requirements ensuring alignment with industry best practices and the clients specific needs. Configuration: Configuring SAP PLM modules to meet the defined business processes, including product data management (Specification and Recipe Development) and change management. Customization: Implementing any necessary customizations or enhancements to tailor the SAP PLM system to the unique requirements. Integration: Collaborating with other SAP modules and external systems to ensure it meets quality standards and fulfills business requirements. Testing: Conducting thorough testing of the configured PLM solutions to ensure it meets quality standards and fulfills business requirements. User Training: Providing training to business super user on the functionalities implemented and get the UAT sign off Go-Live Support: 2 weeks of post go-live support for each CR in addressing the issues and implementing the fixes along with the technical consultants. Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for Solution design, configurations, functional design and test evidence documents to facilitate knowledge transfer and future system enhancements. Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams including business users, developers, AMS RUN team and project managers to ensure successful PLM project delivery.
