Job Description
You will be responsible for providing technical support for SAP systems running on AWS and responding to customer tickets promptly, taking ownership of basis issues until resolution. Your role will involve proactively identifying the root cause of issues, recommending solutions, and implementing them. Additionally, you will support projects related to building and migrating SAP systems on AWS, collaborating with infrastructure, security, and other team members to meet customer requirements. You will also be expected to provide out-of-hours support as per the scheduled support rota and deploy tooling to automate basis and infrastructure activities. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of SAP basis experience across various SAP components. Hands-on experience in SAP Basis and NetWeaver Administration is essential, along with experience in supporting customer SAP systems, implementing, and/or migrating SAP systems, preferably to AWS. Proficiency in SAP Installation, SAP Sizing, SAP Backup and Recovery, SAP Basis Monitoring, SAP Patch Management, Router Configuration, and SAP Kernel Administration is required. Experience in working with multiple customer environments, either directly for the customer or as a third-party provider, is a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills in English are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team.
