Job Description

As an SAP ABAP on HANA Developer, you will be responsible for working on development and support in SAP R/3 and S/4HANA environments. Your key tasks will include developing and maintaining RICEFW objects such as Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements (BADI), and Forms (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms). You will be expected to develop modern and clean ABAP code using Eclipse IDE, build CDS Views, OData services, and Web Services for integration scenarios, and have expertise in Adobe Standalone and Interactive Forms development. Additionally, you will debug and redesign legacy R/3 logic into S/4HANA compatible formats, drive development aligned with Clean Core and API-first strategies, collaborate with functional consultants to meet project delivery timelines, and participate in DFMEA, code reviews, and testing activities. The required skills for this role include strong experience in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP), deep knowledge in CDS Views, OData services, and BADI implementations, experience with Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and SAP Scripts, proficiency in Eclipse-based ABAP Development Tools, familiarity with Clean ABAP principles and modern ABAP syntax, and strong debugging and analytical skills. It would be good to have experience in SAP Fiori and in-app extensibility, understanding of RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), exposure to S/4HANA extensibility techniques such as Key User and Side-by-side, and basic knowledge of the SAP Quality Management module. In addition to technical skills, soft skills required for this role include excellent verbal and written English communication skills, self-driven and proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as a strong team player. This is a full-time role with the possibility of onsite work in locations like Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP on HANA development.,
