Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to become a valuable member of our team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in working on implementation, support, and rollout projects, along with a solid technical background in SAP ABAP programming. As an SAP ABAP Consultant, your key responsibilities will include developing, testing, and deploying custom ABAP solutions to meet specific business requirements. You will also be tasked with designing and implementing various types of reports, forms, and interfaces, while collaborating closely with functional consultants from different modules such as MM, SD, and FICO to understand business processes and deliver effective technical solutions. Additionally, you will be expected to debug and resolve ABAP code-related issues promptly, participate in all stages of the software development life cycle, provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-go-live activities, and ensure code quality, performance optimization, and compliance with SAP best practices. The essential skills required for this role include a strong background in Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF), along with proficiency in User Exits, BADI, BAPI, IDocs, and ALE. Familiarity with Module Pool Programming and Object-Oriented ABAP, as well as experience in Smartforms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts, are also highly desirable. Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities are crucial, and a basic understanding of SAP modules like MM, SD, and FICO would be advantageous. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Guwahati, Assam. The successful candidate must be willing to commute or relocate to the area before commencing work.
