Job Description
As a Sales and Business Development professional at FreightMango, a hypergrowth logistics technology start-up, you will play a crucial role in addressing the over 1 trillion-dollar international freight shipping market. Our vision is to enable anyone to ship anything anywhere, and you will be a key contributor to achieving this goal. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating a deep understanding of the shipping and logistics industry in India, including shipping regulations, cargo movement rules, and overall process requirements. - Utilizing hands-on experience in FCL/LCL, Ocean Freight, and Air Freight to drive sales from new and existing customers, meeting and exceeding sales targets. - Acquiring and retaining customers to expand the client base, while ensuring effective receivable management and cash flow. - Managing sales leads, focusing on all lines of business, and analyzing clients based on gross margin, volume, and profitability. - Bringing at least 4+ years of experience in Sales and business development, preferably within the Freight Forwarding Enterprise/Logistics Technology Domain Company. - Handling customer escalations, understanding customer needs, building relationships, managing budgets and teams, negotiating contracts, and driving B2B sales. Preferred skills for this role include: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong listening and presentation abilities. - Ability to handle multiple tasks daily, prioritize work effectively through efficient planning, and keep up with digital advancements in the logistics sector. - Proven track record in closing sales contracts and maintaining high client retention rates. - Graduation/Post Graduation/Diploma in sales & marketing, logistics & supply chain, international trade, or related fields (graduation is a must).
