Job Description
As a Service cum Sales Engineer at Paramount Instruments Pvt Ltd, based in Erode, Salem, or Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, you will be responsible for providing technical service, maintenance, and installation of industrial/testing equipment at client locations. Your duties will include conducting product demonstrations, technical presentations, customer support, troubleshooting, and after-sales service. It will be essential to maintain service records, prepare reports, and nurture strong relationships with existing customers while exploring cross-selling/up-selling opportunities. Additionally, you will generate new leads, follow up on inquiries, and travel within Erode, Salem, Coimbatore, and nearby industrial areas for client visits. To excel in this role, you must possess technical knowledge in machinery/equipment servicing, the ability to interpret electrical/mechanical diagrams, and good communication skills with prior customer-handling experience. Basic computer proficiency, especially in MS Office, Email, and CRM systems, is required. Your willingness to travel within the region is critical for success. Ideally, you should hold a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, ECE, Mechatronics, or a related field with a minimum of 13 years of experience. Candidates residing in Erode, Salem, or Coimbatore will be given preference for this position. Having a two-wheeler for local travel, a valid driving license, and the capacity to work independently and manage client schedules are additional requirements.
