Job Description
Job Description: We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Safety Officer to join our team at a civil site. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety among all employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry. Responsibilities: Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular safety inspections of the construction site to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Provide safety training to employees, subcontractors, and other relevant personnel. Investigate accidents and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence. Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and accident investigations. Review and approve safety plans and risk assessments for all construction activities. Coordinate with project managers and supervisors to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions. Stay informed about changes in safety regulations and industry best practices, and update safety policies accordingly. Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability among all employees.
