Job Description
The Reservation Manager at a resort plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient guest bookings and overall guest satisfaction. This position is responsible for overseeing the resorts reservation system, handling incoming reservation inquiries, and ensuring optimal room allocation. The Reservation Manager works closely with various departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and sales, to ensure seamless guest experiences from booking through check-out. Key responsibilities include: Managing and optimizing room inventory, rates, and availability to maximize occupancy. Coordinating with guests to handle special requests, cancellations, and modifications to bookings. Monitoring booking patterns and trends to help with pricing strategies. Training and supervising reservation staff to ensure high levels of service and accuracy. Resolving guest issues related to reservations, ensuring that problems are addressed promptly and effectively. Maintaining accurate records of all reservation transactions and ensuring compliance with resort policies.
