Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Maintenance & Repairs: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic). Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and identify root causes. Coordinate with production teams to minimize operational disruption. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to junior operators and technicians. Support new equipment installation and commissioning. Suggest improvements for equipment reliability and performance. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime, and repairs in logbooks or CMMS. Report critical equipment failures and raise requisitions for spare parts. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to plant safety standards and protocols during maintenance activities. Conduct routine inspections and audits of machines for compliance and risk identification. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spare parts inventory and tools. Ensure proper handling and storage of maintenance materials. Continuous Improvement: Participate in Kaizen, TPM, or 5S activities. Recommend changes for energy efficiency and cost reduction in maintenance processes.
