Job Description

As a Clinical Nurse, your primary responsibility is to provide direct nursing care to individuals in order to maintain or restore their optimum health status. This includes assessing and reporting the physiological, pathological, and psychological signs and symptoms of patients from admission to discharge. You will be responsible for admitting, transferring, and discharging patients while maintaining the highest standard of patient care. Your duties will also involve fostering a positive patient-nurse relationship, accompanying attending doctors on rounds, implementing required treatments, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients. You will be expected to perform technical tasks, administer medications according to hospital policies, and assist doctors in various diagnostic and curative procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing patients for medical or nursing procedures, providing care such as C.V. line care, tracheotomy suction, O2 therapy, and tube feedings. Maintaining personal hygiene, dressing wounds, and collecting and sending specimens to the pathology department are also part of your role. You will need to observe changes in patients" conditions, take necessary actions, and report to the appropriate authority. Furthermore, you will provide psychological support to patients, attend to their nutritional needs, and participate in clinical teaching and in-service education programs. This position requires you to work full-time on a rotational shift schedule.
