As an experienced professional in luxury food and beverage and retail operations, you will be responsible for setting and overseeing processes in a high-growth environment. Your duties will include managing retail, online, and offline sales to achieve targets, recruiting and retaining operational staff, and project managing new store openings. You will liaise with vendors, real estate partners, and statutory authorities, recruit and train staff, and manage company resources such as furniture, fittings, hardware, and POS systems. Additionally, you will track and measure operational and financial information against budgets, build budgets and operational contingency plans, support store staff on operational matters, and develop best practices and SOPs for effective store openings and scaling. Your role will involve managing retail operations, including inventory and shelf-life management, as well as maintaining and enhancing in-store visual merchandising. To excel in this position, you should have at least 7 years of experience in team management across multiple locations, strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and the ability to work independently on projects. Relationship building, hospitality background, knowledge of fine foods and service, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience in managing cafes and gourmet stores will be advantageous.
