Job Description
The Receiving Quality Engineer (RQE) position in the Quality Incoming/Receiving Inspection department requires 6 months to 1 year of experience. The role is located in Chakan, Pune. As a Receiving Quality Engineer, your main responsibilities will include conducting inspections of incoming parts and components based on standard drawings and specifications. You will also be tasked with monitoring supplier quality and addressing any non-conformance issues by raising NCRs. Furthermore, maintaining inspection reports and quality documents such as GRN, IRN, and Defect Register will be a crucial part of your daily tasks. You will need to collaborate with suppliers to handle defective materials and initiate SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Report) when necessary. Ensuring prompt segregation of OK/NOT OK parts in the receiving area and working closely with store and production teams to prevent line stoppages due to quality issues are also key responsibilities. Additionally, you will be expected to provide support during supplier audits and contribute to incoming quality improvements. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.
