We are looking for a highly motivated R&D Chemist / Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in organic chemistry and a passion for process development in specialty chemicals, particularly in APIs and pharmaceuticals. This role will involve conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to product development initiatives. Key Responsibilities Experimentation: Execute experiments according to daily plans, ensuring alignment with project timelines. Maintain detailed laboratory logs and analytical records. Data analysis: Analyze and interpret experimental data to support product development and optimization. Prepare and present findings to the R&D team in comprehensive reports. Laboratory Management: Ensure adherence to safety standards when handling hazardous chemicals, and using appropriate PPE. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment. Process Development: Assist in scaling up batches for production, ensuring smooth transitions from lab to plant operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize production processes. Support: Help maintain and adapt existing products as needed. Ad Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks assigned by the Department Head to support departmental objectives. Qualifications Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in organic chemistry or a related field. Experience: 2-4 years of experience in process development of APIs, pharmaceutical intermediates, or fine chemicals. Skills Proficiency in laboratory techniques and analytical methods. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data. Familiarity with safety standards and hazardous material handling.
