Job Description
Key responsibilities: Team Leadership: Manage a team of electronics hardware and testing engineers, assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and evaluating performance. Conduct performance reviews and provide mentorship to team members. Product Development: Define hardware requirements and specifications for new electronic products based on market needs and customer requirements from Sales department / Management Lead the design process, including schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, and simulation. Ensure adherence to design guidelines, regulatory compliance, and quality standards. Project Management: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for hardware development projects. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software engineers, manufacturing, procurement) to ensure smooth project execution. Technical Expertise: Stay updated on emerging electronic components, technologies, and industry trends. Provide technical expertise on hardware design, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Review and approve technical documentation, design specifications, and test procedures. Quality Assurance: Establish and implement robust testing methodologies to ensure product quality and reliability. Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware prototypes and production units. Analyze test results, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
