Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:Cost Estimation & Budgeting:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets based on drawings, specifications, and project scope.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis for budget control.
- Tendering & Procurement:
- Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities (BOQ).
- Assist in the selection and procurement of subcontractors and materials.
- Evaluate and negotiate tender submissions.
- Cost Control & Reporting:
- Monitor project costs and identify potential overruns.
- Provide accurate and timely cost reports and forecasts.
- Manage variations and change orders.
- Contract Management:
- Administer contracts in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., FIDIC, CPWD, or local forms of contract).
- Prepare and assess interim valuations, final accounts, and claims.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and contractual obligations.
- Site Coordination:
- Liaise with site managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor work progress and prepare project progress reports.
- Conduct site visits for measurements and verification of work done.
- Valuation & Payments:
- Measure and value work done on-site for interim and final payment certifications.
- Evaluate subcontractor invoices and ensure timely payments.
