Job Title: Quantity Estimator Reports to: Managing Director Location: Manjeri Job Type: Full-time About Us: Living Space Interiors is a leading manufacturer of high-quality interior furniture. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. # Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of our furniture manufacturing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. # Key Responsibilities: 1. Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for Interior work projects. 2. Contract Administration: Administer contracts, including preparing contract documents, managing variations, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions. 3. Cost Control and Management: Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle, including identifying and mitigating potential cost risks. 4. Measurement and Quantification: Take off quantities from drawings and specifications, and prepare bills of quantities. 5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and procurement, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. # Requirements: 1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field. 2. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the furniture manufacturing or construction industry. 3. Skills: Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, and cost control. Proficient in measurement software, such as Autodesk Quantity Takeoff or similar. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
