Job Summary: A Quality Assistant in a manufacturing company plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position supports the quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) teams by performing inspections, maintaining documentation, and assisting in process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Inspection and Testing: Conduct routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality issues. Assist in preparing quality reports and documentation required for audits.
• Process Improvement Support: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify quality issues, participate in root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality.
• Compliance and Standards Adherence: Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Training and Communication: Assist in training production staff on quality standards and procedures. Communicate quality issues and updates effectively across departments.

Qualifications and Skills

·        Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.

·        Engineering knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mathematics, physics, and materials science.

·        Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.

·        Communication skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers and other stakeholders.
