QA/QC Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our team for a high-rise residential and commercial project. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing quality assurance and control procedures to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans and procedures specific to high-rise construction.
• Conduct inspections of construction materials, methods and systems to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain proper documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), material submittals and testing results.
• Oversee third-party testing and ensure timely communication of results.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Ensure all construction activities meet safety and quality standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly QA/QC reports for management review.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years QA/QC experience in high-rise real estate or commercial building projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, BS, etc.).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and other QA/QC frameworks.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and construction management software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Certification such as ISO Lead Auditor, PMP, or related QA/QC credentials is a plus.
