Job description Role & responsibilities Design, develop custom applications using Python, Django, PostGre SQL - Exposure to build front-end components using AngularJs - Exposure to writing SQL queries and Stored procedure is mandatory. - Work with a team of developers to deliver high quality products on time and within budget - Troubleshoot and debug software issues - Participate in code reviews and unit testing - Stay up-to-date on the latest Python technologies and trends - Understand the overall scope of the project and coordinate with existing resources to speed up the delivery process and deliver the projects/tasks on time. - Be transparent with the head of the software development and provide updates daily. - Help resource reach their goals by completing the tasks provided to them. - Write code keeping in mind the whole application must pass the penetration test at the end. - Write effective unit testing. - Use Swager for API documentation - Implement logging - Prioritize production issues - Once the product is live, programmers should be available during any shift to resolve any production issue (on call). - Maintain privacy and confidentiality. - Seek new knowledge and actively develop new skills. - Keep user experience in mind when building the screens Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field- 6+ years of experience in Python development- Experience with Django and Angular framework - Experience with writing SQL queries/Store procedures - Experience with relational databases PostgreSQL. - Experience with unit testing and code reviews - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Experience with cloud computing platforms like Azure, - Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery - Experience using JSON/XML - Experience in the development and integration of web services (e.g. REST, SOAP) - Experience with Application Development using object-oriented Lifecycle and Application Frameworks - Experience with GIT to build and deploy code deployment to production environments - Experience with Agile Methodology (Scrum) and JIRA Benefits :- Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunity to work on challenging and innovative projects - Collaborative and supportive work environment - Opportunities for professional development and growth Office Location: Chandigarh IT Park/WFH Office Timing: Overlapping/Flexible (Day/Night shift) Role: Full Stack Developer Industry Type: Insurance Department: Engineering - Software & QA Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Software Development Education UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization PG: MCA in Computers Key Skills Skills highlighted with are preferred key skills Python Framework Django, Postgresql, Python Development, Flask Website maaze.in,
