The Role :
Python Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python for GUI and API-based applications.
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks using PyTest, Selenium, and other tools to support scalable and reusable test suites.
• Perform API testing using Postman and Newman, including validation of request/response payloads and performance benchmarks.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA team members in Agile/Scrum teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects with appropriate logs and documentation

Skills Required :

• Minimum 4 to 10 years of experience in Test Automation
• Strong Programming experience with Python
• Test Automation experience with GUI) and non-GUI applications (API)
• Experience with various testing frameworks like PyTest, Selenium Newman / Postman etc.
• Expertise in end-to-end test automation and automation framework using Python
• Good understanding of automation tools, technology landscape and OOPS concepts.
• Experience in testing and automation in agile and continuous delivery models
• Improve overall Software quality across groups through identification and closure of gaps

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience
