BMG is involved in buying gold and silver jewels, bars, coins, and ornaments from the public and financial institutions. With 200+ branches across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, and Andhra states, BMG is planning for Pan India operations by setting up new branches in other states. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager (Jewellery) located in Madurai. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to buying gold and silver jewels, bars, coins, and ornaments from the public and financial institutions. The role involves managing inventory, negotiating prices, evaluating the quality of jewellery, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Qualifications Excellent negotiation and communication skills Experience in purchasing or buying gold and jewellery Knowledge of precious metals and gemstones Strong attention to detail and quality assessment abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field Previous experience in the jewellery or precious metal industry is a plus,
