Job Description
Fine Modular Systems - the production unit of Home World is looking to expand it's services and requires a smart and capable Purchase Manager to reach our goals. Primary Location of Work will be at Home World Office, Lakshmi Mills - Coimbatore. Responsibilities Develops a purchasing strategy. Reviews and processes purchase orders. Maintains records of goods ordered and received. Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers. Selects prospective vendors, Builds and maintains relationships with vendors. Evaluates and compares vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price. Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfillment of orders. Coordinates with fellow managers (Site Supervisor, Production Technical Team and Production Manager) to monitor inventory and determine supply needs. Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise. Requirements and skills Bachelors degree. 1-3 years experience as a purchasing manager or agent. Experience using Tally. Experience in Interior Design related hardware and fittings.
