Dear Candidate, We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is essential for developing precise designs, calculations, and drawings for a variety of components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in design calculations, material selection, and creating component-level, machining, and fabrication drawings. Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling, AutoCAD 2D drafting, and BOM release on SAP is required. Key Responsibilities: Design & Development: Create 3D models in SolidWorks and 2D drawings in AutoCAD. Perform design calculations and select materials to meet project specifications. Technical Drawings: Develop component, machining, and fabrication drawings for production. Ensure designs meet quality standards and project requirements. BOM Management: Prepare and release accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) in SAP for production. Update BOMs as needed to reflect design changes and revisions. Collaboration & Support: Work with cross-functional teams to optimize designs and support manufacturing. Provide technical support and resolve design issues during production. Documentation: Maintain records of design iterations, calculations, and testing to ensure compliance with standards. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Pump Design technical Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling and AutoCAD 2D drafting. Strong knowledge of design calculations, material selection, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) in SolidWorks or equivalent software is a plus. Key Competencies: Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to design. Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
