Job Title: Procurement Executive Job Summary: As a Procurement Executive, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the procurement process within the organization. You will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products at the best possible prices. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to build relationships with vendors will be crucial to success in this role. You will work closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and develop effective strategies to optimize procurement operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services. 2. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and favorable terms. 3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and develop procurement plans accordingly. 4. Maintain and update procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements. 5. Monitor supplier performance, resolve any issues or disputes, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. 6. Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness. 7. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements that may impact procurement activities. 8. Conduct regular supplier evaluation and performance reviews to assess their reliability, quality, and overall performance. 9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance and logistics, to streamline procurement processes and ensure smooth operations. 10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ethical sourcing and sustainability guidelines. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. - Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and industry trends. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in using procurement software and tools. - Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data for decision-making. - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with legal and contractual terms and conditions related to procurement.
