Experience in the Furniture / Interior Industry is necessary Timely review and analysis of Raw material cost and in time placement of order of the same for manufacturing process. Analysing the sales pattern and Forecasted the demand. Administering imports for on-going and new projects. Preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders for supplies Controlling purchasing department budgets; reviewing purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy Identifying new vendors, evaluating, assessing, developing and re-evaluating them. Forecasting levels of demand for products to ascertain best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing suppliers Conducting research for cost benchmarking helping cost comparison, value engineering, negotiation.
