Job Description
As a technical leader on high-impact projects, you will be responsible for providing guidance and coaching to a distributed team of engineers. Your role will involve ensuring alignment and clarity across teams regarding goals, outcomes, and timelines. You will play a crucial part in managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively. Your main focus will be on designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale software solutions. Collaboration with Research teams and ML practitioners will be essential for identifying, building, and iterating on engineering tools, processing pipelines, data optimization techniques, integration with existing workflows, and user interfaces. Additionally, you will be instrumental in supporting user adoption of these solutions. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. You are expected to have 8 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in data structures and algorithms. Moreover, you should possess 5 years of experience in testing, launching software products, and 3 years of experience in software design and architecture. Proficiency in front-end frameworks, full-stack development, or API development is required. Experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow), artificial intelligence, deep learning, natural language processing, or other ML disciplines will be advantageous. Familiarity with Generative AI, such as Large Language Models, Multi-Modal, and Large Vision Models, is a plus. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Additionally, having 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, leading project teams, and setting technical direction is desirable. Experience in working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects will also be beneficial for this role.,
