Job Description: As a BIM Modeler - Electrical at our REC High Rise department in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in co-ordinating with the Electrical Lead Engineer to deliver quality drawings for electrical building services design packages. Your responsibilities will include preparing lighting layouts, power routing diagrams, schematic diagrams, and fire alarm layouts using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software. You will also be responsible for monitoring and resolving clashes with other disciplines to ensure high-quality deliverables. To excel in this role, you should have a degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical system modelling, preferably on international projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Solibri, and Navisworks is essential, along with a strong command of the English language. Experience with European projects, particularly in Denmark, will be advantageous.
