The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a school catering to students with special needs. You will be tasked with developing and implementing a vision that is in line with the school's mission. This will involve overseeing school staff, including teachers, support staff, and administrative personnel, ensuring their professional development and conducting regular performance evaluations. Additionally, you will be required to supervise the creation and execution of individualized education programs (IEPs) for students, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position within a special education environment. A successful track record of effectively working with students with special needs and their families is essential. Experience in creating and implementing IEPs, as well as a sound understanding of special education law, will be beneficial.
