Job Title: Port Supervisor (ICD Ports Delhi NCR) Location: Various ICD Ports within Delhi NCR Experience: 10+ years Industry: Transport & Logistics (Container Transportation) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Port Supervisor to oversee and manage port operations across different ICD (Inland Container Depot) ports within Delhi NCR. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in the transport and logistics industry, specifically in container transportation. This role requires strong operational expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of port regulations and logistics management. Key Responsibilities: Port Operations Management: Oversee daily loading/unloading, container movements, and transport scheduling at assigned ICD ports. Coordination & Supervision: Liaise with port authorities, transport vendors, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to port regulations, customs clearance procedures, and transport documentation. Team Leadership: Supervise and manage port staff, including drivers and ground handling teams, ensuring efficiency and discipline. Operational Efficiency: Monitor turnaround times, minimize delays, and optimize resource utilization to improve productivity. Issue Resolution: Handle operational challenges, including vehicle breakdowns, cargo discrepancies, and compliance issues. Reporting & MIS: Maintain records of daily port activities, prepare reports, and update the management on key performance indicators. Safety & Security: Ensure all operations comply with safety standards and security protocols at the port. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in port operations, specifically in container transportation & logistics. Strong understanding of ICD port functions, customs clearance, and transport documentation. Experience in handling fleet management, driver coordination, and cargo handling. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple port locations efficiently. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
