JOB DESCRIPTION

A Pizza Maker's primary responsibility is to prepare and cook pizzas according to a set recipes and customer preferences.

Working often in a fast-paced restaurant environment and managing orders.

Preparing pizza dough, cutting, grating, slicing various ingredients and toppings and to monitor ovens and ensuring food quality and presentation. 

Ensuring the kitchen area is clean and hygienic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dough and Topping Preparation:
• Making pizza dough from scratch or using pre-made dough, preparing various toppings like sauces, cheeses, meats, and vegetables. 
• Pizza Cooking:
• Operating pizza ovens, monitoring cooking times and temperatures, and ensuring pizzas are cooked to perfection. 
• Order Management:
• Receiving and processing customer orders, potentially including phone, online, or walk-in orders. 
• Food Quality and Presentation:
• Ensuring ingredients meet quality standards, arranging toppings attractively, and presenting finished pizzas in a visually appealing way. 
• Kitchen Operations:
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene guidelines, and potentially assisting with inventory management and ordering.
