Performs a comprehensive and focused health assessment that includes health history and complete physical evaluation; considers the patient's psychosocial, emotional, ethnic, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of health, including their understanding of their health/illness experience and how their daily life is affected. Uses and adapts assessment tools and techniques based on the patient's unique needs. Manages the nursing care for all patients during your shift. Delegates the shift's tasks to all of the nurses in the unit and coordinates with physicians who might need assistance. Recognizes changes in the patient's condition and responds appropriately. Supervises Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and points out any changes or improvements that need to be made. Detects any issues that could result in injuries or other difficulties for patients or staff members. Informs physicians of any changes in the patient's progress, condition, or medicinal needs. Obtains a history of the presenting health issue(s). Assesses the presence of or the need for advanced care directives or do not resuscitate documents. Completes and documents a thorough medication assessment, including over-the-counter medications, alternative medications, intolerances, and allergies. Maintains an accurate list of all current medications by reviewing at each visit and assessing adherence. Assesses access to medications and treatment by determining health coverage. Documents health assessment and clinical data in visit notes and patient profiles or summaries as appropriate. This is a full-time position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, yearly bonus, and a morning shift schedule. The work location is in person.,
