Job Description
As a People Operations Generalist at Litemed, you will be instrumental in shaping the employee experience within the organization. Your role will encompass a variety of Human Resources (HR) initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle, ranging from onboarding and engagement to performance management and offboarding. Collaboration with HR leadership, people managers, and cross-functional teams will be essential in fostering an inclusive and high-performing workplace environment. This position is ideally suited for individuals who excel in dynamic, team-oriented settings and are dedicated to establishing scalable people-centric processes. Your responsibilities will include: Employee Lifecycle Management: - Coordinating local onboarding and offboarding procedures, including conducting exit interviews. - Assisting in ensuring consistency in international HR practices and documentation. - Supporting compliance with local labor laws and HR policies. - Generating HRIS reports and maintaining employee records. - Assisting in probationary reviews with managers. Employee Experience, Office & Benefits Support: - Serving as a primary HR contact for employees, offering guidance on policies, benefits, and workplace issues. - Contributing to employee engagement through wellness initiatives, virtual and onsite events, and team activities. - Aiding in the procurement and monitoring of employee gifts and inventory. - Coordinating benefits onboarding and addressing employee inquiries in collaboration with external consultants. - Supporting local statutory leave procedures and documentation. Performance Management: - Acting as the initial point of contact for performance-related matters and employee relations conflicts. - Assisting in the management of probation documentation, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and involuntary exits with guidance from HR leadership. - Collaborating with managers during performance evaluations and compensation reviews. - Identifying opportunities for process enhancements within People Ops workflows. People Operations Communication: - Effectively communicating through various channels (email, in-person, virtual, chat) with clarity and professionalism. - Assisting in the delivery of sensitive feedback and employee communications with empathy and diplomacy. - Participating in crafting internal HR announcements, policy updates, and engagement messages. Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - MBA from a Tier 1 institute (preferred) with 2-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or People Operations role, particularly in a startup or rapidly expanding environment. - Sound comprehension of core HR functions, compliance regulations, and employee lifecycle procedures. - Strong interpersonal and communication abilities coupled with a high degree of emotional intelligence. - Detail-oriented, proactive, and well-organized with the capacity to manage multiple priorities. - Ability to work autonomously and escalate issues when necessary. - Proficiency in HRMS tools (experience with Zoho HRMS is advantageous).,
