Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our hotel maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both carpentry and painting work, and be able to perform a variety of tasks related to the upkeep, repair, and renovation of our hotel facilities. Key Responsibilities: Carpentry: Build, install, and repair wooden structures such as cabinets, shelving, furniture, and trim work throughout the hotel Construct and maintain exterior structures like decks, fences, and gazebos Hang drywall and perform drywall repairs Install and repair doors, windows, and hardware Assemble and disassemble temporary structures for events and conferences Painting: Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers or sealers Paint guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and exterior surfaces with a high level of attention to detail Match existing paint colors and achieve a consistent, professional finish Apply specialized finishes like stains, varnishes, and textures as required Touch up and perform regular maintenance painting as needed General Duties: Follow all safety protocols and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas Assist with material estimation, ordering, and inventory management Collaborate with other hotel maintenance staff and external contractors Provide excellent customer service and minimize disruptions to hotel guests Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Schedule: Rotational shift Yearly bonus Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 27/04/2024 Expected Start Date: 06/05/2024,
