Roles & Responsibilities:-

· Eye exams

· Optometrists perform comprehensive eye exams using optometric equipment. They explain the process and duration to patients.

· Diagnosis and treatment

· Optometrists diagnose and treat eye conditions and injuries, including diseases like glaucoma and cataracts. They may refer patients to specialists if necessary.

· Corrective lenses

· Optometrists prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses and contact lenses. They educate patients about single vision and progressive lenses, and recommend the appropriate lens and/or frames.

· Customer service

· Optometrists provide outstanding customer service through all patient interactions. They answer questions and provide advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues.
