Job Description

The operational manager for Hostel & Kitchen is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hostel accommodation and kitchen facilities. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a keen understanding of hospitality management. Your role involves managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene, as well as maximizing operational efficiency and profitability. You will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, maintenance, and upkeep of hostel facilities including rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Additionally, you will coordinate with external service providers for maintenance, cleaning, and supplies to ensure smooth operations. Developing, planning, and updating the menu in line with guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal ingredients will be part of your responsibilities. You will also oversee food costing, portion control, and pricing to ensure profitability while maintaining quality standards. Your role will involve ensuring that meals are nutritious, delicious, and presented in a visually appealing manner to enhance guest satisfaction.
