Job Description
Experience: You should possess 4-6 years of experience in the field. Roles and Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for managing user roles and group permissions within the Octopus security model. These roles will be assigned to Teams, and will determine the actions that team members can perform within Octopus. Octopus comes with a predefined set of user roles that are intended to cover most common scenarios: - Build servers: responsible for publishing packages, creating releases, deployments, runbook snapshots, and runbook runs. - Certificate managers: authorized to edit certificates and export private keys. - Deployment creators: able to create new deployments and runbook runs. - Environment managers: have the ability to view and edit environments and their associated machines. - Environment viewers: can view environments and machines, but are restricted from making edits. - NuGet feed permits: authorized to push packages to the Octopus Server's built-in NuGet feed. - Project viewers: have read-only access to a project, including the ability to view the project in their dashboard, access releases and deployments. This role can be restricted by project and environment. - Project contributors: have all the permissions of project viewers, with the additional ability to edit and view variables, and edit deployment steps. They are unable to create or deploy releases. - Project managers: possess all the permissions of project viewers, with the added ability to create new projects. - Release managers: have the permissions of project contributors, with the ability to deploy releases without creating them. - Release creators: authorized to create new releases and runbook snapshots. Qualification: To be considered for this position, you should hold a B.Tech / B.E or higher degree in computer engineering or equivalent field.,
