Job Description
The role involves monitoring and managing incoming faxes related to medical records, patient referrals, claims, authorizations, and other healthcare documentation. You will be responsible for accurately sorting, categorizing, and filing faxes electronically within the system while ensuring timely and proper routing of documents to the appropriate teams or individuals. It is crucial to maintain up-to-date and accurate records of processed faxes in compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare standards. Additionally, handling inbound calls from healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies regarding fax-related queries is part of the job. You will be expected to provide information and resolve issues promptly and professionally, including making outbound calls to clarify information, request additional documentation, or provide updates as required. Adherence to healthcare regulations, particularly HIPAA, is essential to maintain the confidentiality of patient information. Preferred Skills: - Willingness to work in the night shift (5.30 PM to 2.30 AM) - Ability to work in an office setting - Any degree/diploma is mandatory - Strong communication skills (both written and oral) - Proficiency in typing and good knowledge of MS Office (Excel knowledge is mandatory) - Commitment to work for a minimum of 1 year - Freshers or individuals with experience in other fields but possessing the expected skill set are encouraged to apply This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for fresher candidates.
