Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable backend services and APIs, collaborating closely with frontend developers and product teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain scalable Node.js applications and RESTful APIs. Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Troubleshoot and debug production issues and fix bugs. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, and message queues as needed. Ensure security and data protection measures are in place. Stay updated with new technologies and suggest improvements. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of professional experience working with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript. Strong knowledge of Express.js or other Node.js frameworks. Experience building RESTful APIs and working with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL). Familiarity with authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth). Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. Knowledge of Docker and containerization is a plus. Experience with version control tools like Git. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
