Job Description Key Accountabilities: Develop technical solutions and design concepts for remanufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of engine and system. Responsible for design and development of Engine components including sheet metal, piping and machined parts, systems & sub-systems. Accountable for Quality, timelines and deliverables for all tasks, subtasks & projects. Create technical documentation for manufacturing, assembly, test, and trouble shooting. Review the technical concepts created by peers. Manage technical changes, new releases, and bill of materials in PLM and ERP systems (Windchill and SAP). Define wear limits and criteria to assess the used parts. Improve processes and create documentation. Work closely with service team for MRO solution development. Qualifications (Education, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities) Bachelors / masters in mechanical engineering with 6-8 years of experience. Should have strong understanding of Manufacturing processes like casting, machining, etc. Sound knowledge of Maintenance Repair & overhaul, reman processes and terminologies and overhauling specifications. Should have knowledge of Cost-effective repair / overhaul process for Engine components. Good understanding of Re-machining the components by considering wear limits. Proficient in 3D- CAD-systems, preferably Pro Engineer/CREO. Expertise and hands on experience in ISO GPS based Geometric Tolerancing. Hands on experience on PLM systems Windchill and ERP systems, SAP. Ability to work efficiently with cross functional teams and global teams. Should be flexible, team player and working independently. Able to handle multiple tasks and projects. Passionate about handling new challenges with a drive for results. Good knowledge about trouble shooting and Root cause analysis. Flexible to travel based on the requirement. Good Project management and stakeholder management skill. Good communication and problem-solving skills German language is an added advantage.
