Job Description

We are seeking a Mobile Application Tester to ensure the quality and timely delivery of our iOS, Android, and Web applications. The ideal candidate will have technical testing expertise along with non-technical skills such as user perspective analysis and strong communication abilities to ensure a seamless user experience. Immediate availability or short notice period is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts for mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications. Conduct Functional, UI/UX, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and End-to-End testing. Utilize testing tools like Postman, BrowserStack, Appium, or other mobile automation tools. Participate in performance testing and app load time checks. Test app installation, push notifications, background/foreground scenarios, network fluctuations, and device compatibility. Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing. Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to understand technical requirements. Ensure overall Quality Assurance for go-live checks for the Apps team. Non-Technical Responsibilities: Test from a user's perspective to guarantee usability, simplicity, and customer satisfaction. Provide clear, concise bug reports and well-documented test results. Offer feedback on app flow, user journey, and end-user expectations. Possess good communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams. Required Skills: Technical: - Proficiency in manual mobile app testing. - Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman. - Exposure to mobile automation tools (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest) is preferred. - Understanding of various mobile platforms (iOS & Android) and device ecosystems. - Familiarity with App Store / Play Store guidelines for app submissions and updates. - Experience with bug tracking. - Basic knowledge of API/JSON responses. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 1-2 years of experience in mobile/web app testing.
