As a Media & Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the marketing team by assisting in various tasks over a 3-month paid duration. Your primary responsibilities will include: Organizing participation in book festivals, exhibitions, and literary events to promote our titles and authors. Coordinating logistical arrangements for events and identifying and nominating Jaico titles for relevant book awards. Collaborating with influencers and bloggers to implement marketing strategies and ensuring their activities align with our brand. Enhancing the visibility of new book releases through media coverage, promotional activities, and event coordination. Brainstorming and designing creative concepts for social media and marketing materials. Capturing photos, shooting videos, and creating visually appealing content for book promotions on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Assisting in developing content calendars for a consistent online presence and supporting email marketing campaigns. To excel in this role, you should have strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a good command of spoken and written English.
