Job Description: Mechanical Draftsman Position Title: Mechanical Draftsman Department: Design/Engineering Location: Aligarh Experience Required: 12 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using Creo software. Collaborate with design engineers to interpret project requirements and translate concepts into technical drawings. Modify and revise designs to address engineering challenges or incorporate new specifications. Ensure all technical drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements. Assist in the creation of bill of materials (BOM) and maintain updated drawing records. Participate in design reviews to provide technical insights and improvements. Work closely with the production team to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to drawings. Qualifications and Skills Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: 12 years in a similar role, with a strong focus on mechanical drafting. Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Creo. Familiarity with other CAD tools is a plus. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks. Preferred Attributes Experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry.
