Job Description

As a Sr Materials Planner , you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain network to ensure efficient and timely delivery of materials to meet customer demand. You will report directly to our Materials Planning Manager, and you will work out of our Tianjin, China location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will play a critical role in the supply chain planning and execution process within the business. You will be responsible for developing and executing the monthly plan (SIOP) and all associated initiatives to achieve on-time shipments and meet customer needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in service, quality, inventory, on-time shipment & delivery, order fulfillment, cycle time, capacity management, and growth.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  •    Develop and execute the monthly plan (SIOP) to achieve on-time shipments and meet customer needs.
  •    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in service, quality, inventory, on-time shipment & delivery, order fulfillment, cycle time, capacity management, and growth.
  •    Manage and optimize the supply chain network to ensure efficient and timely delivery of materials.
  •    Identify areas for process improvement and development within the operation.
  •    Accountable for key metrics such as inventory accuracy, safety stock, and customer on-time delivery (OTTR).
  •    Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.



YOU MUST HAVE

  •    6+ years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
  •    3+ years of project management experience.



WE VALUE

  •    Bachelor's Degree in Materials Management, Operations, or related field.
  •    Experience in SIOP, Inventory Management, MRP MPS, Procurement Logistics, and Manufacturing.
  •    Good knowledge of material control systems such as MRP/SAP systems.
  •    APICS or CPIM Certification.
  •    Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  •    Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
  •    Experience in leading/driving change.
