Job Description
Collaborate with O&M teams to assess material requirements for ongoing and upcoming maintenance activities, including network repairs, upgrades, and expansions. Ensure the timely procurement of materials, equipment, and spare parts in accordance with project timelines and operational needs. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best prices and ensure reliable delivery of materials to meet operational needs. Oversee the storage, tracking, and usage of materials and equipment used in the operations and maintenance of telecom infrastructure (e.g., cables, towers, routers, antennas, batteries, etc.). Maintain accurate inventory records using management software, ensuring materials are available for maintenance activities without overstocking. Conduct regular stock checks and audits to prevent shortages and minimize excess inventory Collaboration with O&M Teams: Act as the primary point of contact between O&M teams and suppliers/vendors for material-related matters. Work closely with project managers, technicians, and engineers to ensure materials are available when needed and allocated efficiently. Address and resolve material-related issues, such as shortages or delays, to avoid disruptions in O&M activities.
