Job Description

  1. Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of company objectives, market characteristics, and cost involved
  2. Evaluate the financial aspects, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections for a particular project/strategy.
  3. Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products, working with Brand Building and Business development team.
  4. Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff and oversee their daily activities.
  5. Consult with Brand Building team on product specifications such as changes in design and packaging as per the need of the customer and feedbacks received by the marketing executives regarding market changes and need.
  6. Develop pricing strategies in consultation with the top management, taking into consideration both firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
  7. Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
  8. Coordinate and participate in promotional activities (like exhibitions and trade shows), work with advertisers and Brand Building team to market products and services.
  9. Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings to develop new markets.
  10. Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
  11. Developing specific goals and plans as per prioritization, organize, and accomplish the work assigned, delegation of work to sub ordinates and creation of work harmony
  12. Maintain a visit plan mentioning the visits to each selected outlets and assist team members in their work.
  13. Providing market related information to superiors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  14. Send daily reports to the top management consolidating the department activities of a particular day.
