Job Description
Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Manual QA (Quality Assurance) professional. As a Manual QA, you will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying issues, and ensuring quality standards are met. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications. Ensure adherence to web testing standards and best practices. Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and provide feedback. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing. Validate web applications for accessibility compliance (WCAG standards). Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform database testing. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process. Identify, document, and track defects and issues through resolution. Provide detailed and actionable bug reports. Design and execute API test cases to validate RESTful and SOAP services. Use tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar for API testing. Requirements: Proven experience as a Web QA Tester or similar role. Strong understanding of web testing standards and best practices. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. Solid knowledge of accessibility standards and testing (e.g., WCAG). Experience with database testing and writing SQL queries. Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB),
