Job Description
As a Civil Structural Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include the following: Pre-Bid Design: - Conduct a thorough study of tender documents and prepare technical queries. - Generate the Bill of Quantity for structure and civil works to facilitate tender estimates. Detail Engineering: - Prepare and review design calculations for support structures and foundations of substation equipment. - Review design and details of gantry structures and foundations. - Create and review design and details of earth retaining structures. - Analyze and discuss soil investigation reports with Geotech consultants or clients regarding geotechnical aspects. - Provide necessary inputs to draftspersons and review civil drawings for various structures. - Demonstrate proficiency in various design standards such as IS Codes, EURO Codes, and American codes, with experience in international projects. - Possess expertise in seismic design and detailing of buildings and other structures. - Review detailed structural and fabrication drawings provided by fabricators. - Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities for civil items. - Issue drawings to site or client. - Offer technical support to the site during project execution and commissioning. - Collect site data through site visits. Qualifications required: - BE/B. Tech in Civil Engineering and ME/M. Tech in Structure. Experience: - Minimum 10-15 years of experience as a civil structural design engineer. Compensation: - Compensation ranging between 20 LPA - 30 LPA, based on interview performance and hiring management decisions.,
