Job Description

The role of Inventory Manager involves managing the inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels. You will be responsible for evaluating deliveries, shipments, and product levels to enhance inventory control procedures. Analyzing daily product and supply levels will be essential to anticipate inventory issues and shortages. Your main responsibilities will include optimizing inventory control procedures, ensuring adequate product stock for all distribution channels, and recording daily deliveries and shipments for inventory reconciliation. You will utilize software to monitor demand and document inventory characteristics, as well as place orders to replenish stock while avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus. Anticipating future needs, evaluating suppliers for cost-effective deals, and maintaining trust relationships will be crucial aspects of your role. Collaboration with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met is also a key responsibility. Reporting to upper management on stock levels and related issues will be part of your regular tasks. In terms of non-moving and slow-moving analysis, you will design methods to prevent products from entering the Nonmoving Category by engaging in frequent meetings with relevant stakeholders. For non and slow-moving inventory, coordination with all stakeholders to find ways to liquidate it will be necessary. You should conduct various analyses related to inventory management, such as SLOB analysis and Inventory norm governance (Cyclic stock, safety stock, etc.). Key performance metrics you will be measured on include Quality of Stock deployment (QSD +-), Inventory turnover ratio, Inventory Days on hand, Stock to Sales ratio, and Inventory aging ratio. The educational qualification required for this role is a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Post Graduate degree in Management studies, preferably from tier 1 institutes like NITIE, IIM, SP Jain. A minimum of 5 to 9 years of work experience in a manufacturing setup is preferred. The location for this position is at CSO- Jigani.,
